Ipanema is a fun, sustainable sandal and flip-flop collection manufactured in Brazil by Grendene. It is made from a uniquely formulated PVC plastic called "Flexpand" - a recyclable and non-toxic material that makes our footwear super comfortable, flexible & durable on the footbed and toe strap.

Ipanema was inspired by the vibrant colors and culture of the famous Ipanema beach - but it is a fashion and lifestyle essential, not just a product for the summer. We believe the beach is not a place, but a state of mind - and that with your Ipanema’s you take the sun's energy wherever you go. Unlike many other footwear manufacturers, Ipanema products are 100% recyclable and do not use any rubber from our rainforests. This dramatically reduces our waste and enables us to recycle 99% of our waste products.
